Emergency Calls

If you feel the symptoms are severe enough to need immediate attention you must dial 999.  This is the advice of the GP’s based on national guidance.  The ambulance control will assess the urgency of the call based on the information you give.

Where the situation may be urgent but not severe please contact the surgery. The receptionist will need as much information as possible to pass to the Duty Doctor who will then contact you as quickly as possible.

If a doctor is required outside surgery hours please contact Devon Doctors on Call - 0845 6710270. You will be connected to the Doctors’ message handling service where someone will take details and pass them to the Doctors’ Out-of-Hours. A Doctor will contact you at the telephone number you have give to further assist with your medical problem.
