Patient Services Advisor

(37.5 hours per week - full or part time hours considered)

We are looking to recruit a Patient Services Advisor to join our friendly, forward thinking practice at our surgeries in Chulmleigh and Winkleigh, own transport essential.

We are looking for enthusiastic, conscientious team players who have a positive and friendly outlook.

Candidates must be able to deal with the public in a professional and approachable manner, have the ability to prioritise a busy workload and work efficiently in a busy environment. Knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage.

Benefits include NHS pension scheme, and 27 days annual leave.

It is with great sadness and regret that we advise that Dr Rhiannon Starks has decided to resign as a Partner of Wallingbrook.

Dr Clare Dawson joined the practice on 5 September and will take over the care of Dr Starks patients.

The Dispensary at Wallingbrook

“I am taking an enormous amount of tablets at the moment so visit the dispensary quite frequently. The staff there provide a constantly efficient service which is always polite, helpful and cheerful in a friendly atmosphere. Queries and requests are patiently dealt with and kind advice is always offered.  I like the flexibility which is always evident. The dispensary is generally a very busy little unit and the staff there deserve credit for the way they look after their customers.”

I have just taken a call from a gentleman who just wanted to say how pleased he was with the practice and how well he was treated by Caroline Stapleton today at Winkleigh, she was very thorough and helpful and he felt he must let us know.

A patient told us that the consult she had in September had helped her so much. She was really appreciative of the trouble that was taken to explain everything in relation to her condition and said she “feels like a different person”. They said so many people are quick to complain so she wanted the Practice to receive praise as well.

A patient wanted to thank the GP for his help, for acting so promptly and for being so nice.
