Dispensary Update - 26/03/2020 15.30

Medication Supply Issues

Our medication suppliers are experiencing on-going staff shortages which have impacted on our medicine deliveries. Currently only partial orders are arriving.

The practice would like to encourage those patients who do not take advantage of our monthly ordering system to use this, and order their next month’s supply at the time they collect their medication, we will then arrange a collection date in 28 day’s time for you. This enables the dispensing team to order your medication in advance; allowing the supplier’s adequate time to fulfil our order during this time.

We thank you for your support and understanding

Karen Acott, Executive Partner and Clinical Pharmacist Leaving Wallingbrook After 17 Years

Karen Acott, Executive Partner and Clinical Pharmacist will be leaving Wallingbrook Health Group at the end of February after 17 years at the practice.  Karen has overseen many changes over the last 17 years and has always ensured that patient care has been at the forefront of practice decisions and changes made at Wallingbrook. We would like to thank Karen for the huge contribution that she has made to the practice over this time.

Karen will be greatly missed by everyone here and we wish her the very best for a well-earned, restful, happy and healthy retirement.

Goodbye Message from Karen

“It has been an honour and privilege to be part of Wallingbrook and the local community for the past decade. I leave today knowing that there is a great team who will adapt and work hard to deliver the best healthcare and wellness to our patients. Please be kind to each other and forgiving as sometimes it is not for the want of trying that things do not go to plan. I urge you to continue to support and protect this scarce resource so they can continue to look after you and your families for many years to come. Finally, my sincere thanks to all for your feedback and guidance over the years.”

Karen Acott
